Your Home’s History Wedding Anniversary Print $45 A lovely addition to a home – a sampler style house history for the couple! An unusual idea for wedding anniversary gifts. This vintage inspired individually researched house history draws on the Victorian sampler theme to incorporate fascinating facts about any home’s history. There is a subtle canvas effect to the print with the text in cross stitch style. The print can be personalised with your own message making it also a different present gift idea for Christmas. You can include any message you wish (up to 160 characters): “On your 25th wedding anniversary with love xxx” “Wrought by Ellie James for her parents. Areas of research which are likely to be covered include the local history of the area and who lived at the property or were its neighbours. If the house being researched was built prior to 1911 we will try and find details of who lived there and include some of them on the house history. This gives an interesting insight into the house in years gone by and the sort of numbers of people who lived there (which can be surprising) and their jobs. Sometimes, especially if the house is in a village, the enumerator did not note down the number or name of the house. Instead just the road name is given, or in some cases, just the name of the village. If this is the case, we will still give an overview of the sort of people living around and about which gives a flavour to the nature of the area.
