Anniversary Gifts By Years Married
husband never buys me anything unless i ask?
hi im 26 my husband is 28. being married for one year. and we were dating for 1 year b4 getting married.
from the beginning we decided to ask each other what gifts we want for special days
he never asks what i want for my birthday/anniversary/valentines etc
i remind him saying my birthday is coming. even then we does not ask what i want.
i wait and wait and finally ask “what are you buying me for my birthday”
then he asks “ok what do you want?”
ALSO, HE DOES NOT EVER give me a random/ “just because” gift and i give him.
i feel like he never gets the idea “i want to give her a gift and make her happy” and im very sad about that 
what do i do? talk to him? but what i want to see is that he gets the ideas to buy me a gift by himself… not when i ask.
for those who know, my love language is gifts

He’s not going to get the idea unless you some how tell him. It’s just not something he thinks of.
I gave lots of little gifts for no reason at all, a single flower (not even a rose) a small picture, even a special message on the internet (and yes we were married, but I could still use the net to send her a message).
For big things, I usually asked what she would like, just because I wanted it to be something she would like.
